Check your booking/delivery status of Ubislate 7+ here!

              As we are getting closer to release date of Ubislate 7+ a.k.a Akash tablet, finally Datawind is taking some steps to regain lost confidence of many Indians who booked their Ultra-low cost Android device. As per their status update on official Facebook page, users can check their booking as well as delivery status of Ubislate tablet from their official website.
        For checking delivery status follow the link Ubislate - Status Check.
 
       Enter your Booking ID (Ex:P0123456789) in the search bar and  hit enter. Detailed delivery status is displayed on your computer screen.








Note: Currently they are in a process of linking database to site so, the site may display Invalid booking id Error Message. Wait until they link database to site. I'll be updating this post whenever the process gets completes.


Update:
As per available information from internal sources, Ubislate 7+ will be released on March 15. Earlier it was scheduled to launch on End of the first week of March but, due to aap ki app contest deadline (final submission) extension to March 09 launch date has stretched further.

One more thing to remember that, the status check link also will work only after official product launch. You may even check the delivery status with the mobile number which you used while pre-booking of the product

Update:
Many people are getting fed up with CRM of Datawind. When I spoke with one of the internal source of Datawind he told that. commercial product will be made available to general public only after the supply to Government. This contractual restriction is delaying the product launch. As of know I can only say, wait for official launch....

    i have entered my Booking ID to this URL. But the result shows INCORRECT ID though the BOOKING ID has given by datawind after booking Ubislate 7+ ONLINE with a successful order place message. this is quite myterious about this product whether we get this or not. this link of checking order status is ridiculous.

      Read the Above note in the post. They haven't linked database to website yet. Wait for some time and recheck again. I'll be updating post when the link becomes functional

    Listen folks.. your email id and the prebooking number are the only two ways of uniquely identifying you for datawind. Dont go on flashing these on internet blogs. I assume we will be contacted when they plan to ship the device.

      Dear Harsh,

      You can trust the Datawind Ltd, why any company want to ruin it's business at early stages? You can also get acknowledgement for your payment but it takes time as they have limited resources in CRM.

      The deliveries will begin to customers based on the order in which they ordered Ubislate7+ online. Everyone who ordered online will be contacted by us and offered to complete their purchases. Pre-bookings received in October and November will start receiving their units late-February and early March. Pre-Bookings from December will start receiving units late-March. Pre-bookings made in January/February will start receiving units in April. Priority will be given to people that have made pre-payment.

    its still not working and it never will...
    they r developing themselves and showing the world that they r getting good response...
    but whats the use when u can't deliver...
    I had send a cheque which got cleared one month back...
    after repeated email they replied that they have received my cheque and bla bla...
    and then whenever i email them they say the same thing adding and extra line that the tablet will be delivered within 6 weeks of the date of receipt of the cheque...
    such a long wait will kill the interest....more and more good devices r coming in the market...they shud think over this...whats the use of innovations and bookings when u can't deliver to the common man...

    You Buy any product online and you know when you will get it. Here Datawind themselves do not know when they will be able to deliver the product. What is the use of stating that " due to overwhelming response etc. etc." I would like to suggest data wind that " eat as much as you can digest" or " advertise if you can deliver". This product is going to fail in long run if Datawind does not improve the delivery and customer support.

    I thought for a full day before deciding against it. What an escape I had !
    Those who did not get after paying the money, please file fraud case against the company then only the company will take you seriously.

    Please have a patience, I think Datawind surely will come-up with a official statements about the delivery schedule.

    As of now, it seems that they will again going to miss the promised delivery schedule of May 15-31 for all pre-paid customers.

    MY BOOKING ID- PM96C9909FA3 paid ICICI Cheque on 20-3-12 and they cashed it on 31-3-12. After reminders, I got acknowledgement and information that it will be supplied in 15 days. Whenever I ask for delivery, they simply ask payment particulars. This repeated for 13 times. Today also I furnished payment particulars. I think it is a fraud case.palakkeezhu@gmail.com

      To whom u filed such complain? Are u expecting any positive reply? The whole project is a fraud and never be realised because of a nexus between so called govt. and some fictitious entities. Datawind must be go to hell.They never bother to reply to any queries. They must be go to hell.

      Hi askCT, I read the other blog and you've mentioned quite a few disadvantages with the device like heating up, Android 2.2, etc... I thought those were the specs for Akash and not for Ubislate 7+.

      Because if I understand it right, Ubislate 7+ has not yet been delivered to anyone right? Then where are the reviews of this device coming from??

    After this I havent received any communication from them. When I tried to reach them, they just pick the phone and place it on the table. Also there is no reply mail when I mail them. Actually what is going on? Are they going to dispatch the orders or will they not? Am so vexed on their behavior and customer support. This is a disgrace to our Nation too.

    Guys even I am fedup with false promises given to me by mail. They first told me that I will get it before 31st may then I sent them other mail stating failure to deliver on time . They mailed me again and gave me a date of june. But still I didn't received my tab. Now you guys can check their website. They say delivery started... huh I have waited so long for this tab and I. Think I need crocine tab to overcome the headache caused by datawind.
